The fact that they are vacuum sealed increases their efficiency further because vacuums provide the optimal conditions for insulating the heat source. This means that less power is lost. The center of the tube can be blazing hot, but the outside of the tube, insulated by the vacuum, continues to be cool to the touch. All of this leads to an increase in the amount of the solar power being stored and used to heat the water in the building.

The power used by your boiler system represents a sizeable piece of the electricity and/or gas used in your building. You can significantly lower your energy bills and those of your tennants by installing solar heating tubes and using green energy to your advantage. You only need to purchase and install your solar heating tubes once, and the savings can last forever.

This is the perfect time to begin using green energy such as solar panels. Governments the world over are now offering incentives to incourage building owners to install a solar energy system that generates green energy sources. Several governments allow tax rebates which cover most or all of the costs of installing these money and energy saving devices. Eventually, every building will have to use some kind of renewable energy. It is better to get on board now, while the government will help defray some of the costs.
