Author: Please excuse me, because I want to discuss the solar panel do it yourself solar system, but for a little while, it might seem I’m going off topic. I hope you’ll indulge me, because it’s really important.
The cost of energy is skyrocketing. The supply of natural resources is dwindling. As these resources continue to dwindle the prices are just going to keep rising.
The shocking reality is most of the nations in the world have become enslaved to a global energy policy that makes no sense whatsoever. If you are waiting for the government to change things, you better not hold your breath.
The president of the USA in the late 1970′s tried to move us away from this insane energy policy and into the direction of solar and renewable energy. He had a vision for our future that would have put us n a far better place today, if we had stayed the course.
No, we did not stay the course. We reversed our course. That next president who moved into the white house, immediately tore down the solar panels that (that happen to look just like the solar panel do it yourself solar system) that the previous president had installed. Even worse, the new president dismantled the renewable energy program for the nation that the previous president had put into place. That new president was bought and paid for by the energy companies, as has every president been since him.
So where does that put us today? We are fiscally and morally bankrupt and teetering on the edge of the greatest depression yet. It didn’t have to be this way. It could be so different.
So where does this leave us? Where does it leave YOU? Do you have any ideas? A plan of action? A step in the right direction for the sake of your grandkids and their grandkids? What is to be your family legacy?
Here is what you can’t do: sit around on your duff and wait for someone to save you. That is unAmerican. How about doing something to save yourself? Who is going to prevent you from building your own solar panels that you can connect to your home and immediately reduce your energy consumption from nonrenewable resources?
You can do it like a Lego system and keep connecting them together, further reducing your consumption, and maybe you will end up getting off the grid altogether. Or better yet — Maybe you will stay connected and you will get paid from the power company for the energy units that you sell to them.
Wouldn’t that be nice? Wouldn’t it be great to not have to worry about black outs and brown outs, and to move toward self sufficiency? You can start a garden and eat real food while you’re at it, and really be self sufficient. The Whole World Is Looking At Wind Power Systems
While wind power systems and other alternative sources of electricity are becoming popular, and even common, in many parts of the world, Canada has been utilizing this form of electricity for years. Wind sourced energy has become a natural part of business and residential energy systems in Canada for quite a while. A small wind power turbine, standing about 30 feet tall and 2 feet wide, can generate 1.2KW of power. This works out to between 25 and 30% of an average domestic power usage, and costs about $5000. The Energy Ball will cost anything from $3,690 to $6,900, depending on the size you opt for. This runs completely silently and can provides anything up to 50% of the average domestic power requirements. There is a cheaper and more popular alternative intended for off-grid locations such as cabins or islands, that costs around $600 to $700 and supplies 200-watts. New green energy designs are hitting the market all the time.
